Joy Meilak - CLS Legal Director

Joy Meilak is the Legal Director of Constructive Legal Solutions and General Manager of Business and Commercial Services for NECA Victoria. Joy has decades of experience in law, as a legal adviser; at Melbourne Water (formally MMBW) in construction contracts/disputes & defended public liability matters; as a suburban legal practitioner; and as in-house counsel (and senior management) to a number of membership bodies including CPA Australia, Law Institute of Victoria, IPAA and more recently, NECA Victoria.

Joy is a member focused, senior executive who is passionate about providing a holistic service to members/clients- to not only resolve the presenting current legal issue/s as pragmatically as possible, but to also look under the hood and make recommendations for change in current business practices, in order to manage risk and to assist with a members’ business success.
